2.Mix marinade in a bowl: 6 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp water, 4 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp mirin, 2 tbsp minced garlic, 2 tbsp sesame oil, 2 tsp sesame seeds, 0.5 Korean pear, and 0.125 tsp pepper.
3.Place the meat, 3 scallions, 1 small onion, and 1 small carrot in a large bowl. Add the marinade and toss gently to combine everything well. Marinate the meat for to an hour, up to overnight.
4.Preheat the pan, and add the meat over high heat. You can crowd the pan to generate some liquid and let the meat cook in its own juice. Cook until the meat is no longer pink. Use all the marinade if you want some sauce at the end.
